Vegan Potlucks

One of my favorite things to do with my group of girlfriends is cooking and eating vegan dinners together. Towards the beginning of quarantine, we started doing vegan potluck picnics at the park. Each person would bring their own vegan dish. I had no idea I had such incredible chefs in my group of friends. The potlucks started becoming quite the spread of creative vegan recipes.

We began hosting vegan dinners and would help each other cook. I love spending time together in the kitchen preparing the food, setting up the table, making flower arrangements, and even cleaning up together.

One of my friends, Anne Greenwald, the head chef of the group, loves to collect and read recipe magazines. She likes to use regular (non-vegan) recipes and veganizes them on her own. Anne substitutes vegan products into the recipes and wings it. Instead of using vegan recipes. She says that vegan recipes are usually plain and bland. However, every single attempt at veganizing these winter recipes has been DELICIOUS. Here are a few pictures from our winter vegan dinner series.

XOXO,

Jessica
